Karyn Moyle

National Indigenous Postvention Advocate NT

Karyn Moyle is a Djaru and Eastern Arrernte woman, however because of the stolen generation her grandparents grew her up on Larrakia land, Darwin NT, and from the age of 8 to 18, Karyn did her schooling and education in Victoria/NSW on Yorta Yorta land. 
Karyn has two now adult children, a son and daughter, who have also come from a large indigenous family in the NT, and who are her strength and healing.
Karyn has lived experience with mental health, from bereavement to suicide, domestic violence and trauma and is currently working on putting her own business together to have the ability to travel to all towns and communities to deliver training in and around mental health, suicide prevention and bereaved by suicide and trauma.

Karyn currently is certified to deliver training in the “Youme whichway” workshops which were originally developed by Standby in the Sunshine Coast. Karyn is also currently studying at CDU in mental health and is new to working with Thirrili.
